I don't know what's the problem, but try diferent paths with and without {URL:
http://yoursite/yourdirectory/yourfile.php} and {URL:yourdirectory/yourfile.php}

ok... here is what I've found... I think i may be having an open_basedir restriction problem with PHP, which can obviously be fixed by making some adjustments to my server config files. However I only get that error when I use the {PHP:xxx} tag. When I use the {URL:xxx} tag i get nothing, no error nothing... just blank. I'll trying changing the server config then see what happens. Any ideas? the {URL:xxx} tag is a standard replacement tag?

Ok... the URL tag seems to be working, but whenever i try to open a remote site (my config IS correct) I get
Code: Select all
No such file or directory in /bla/bla/bla/html/include/inc_lib/general.inc.php on line 1009
When i try using {URL:index.php?sidebar} I get
Code: Select all
Warning: file("index.php?sidebar") - No such file or directory in /bla/bla/bla/html/include/inc_lib/general.inc.php on line 1009
It will work (but give me some weird code, if i just use {URL:index.php}
Please help. I don't know why it isn't working for me

To show content from another PHPWCMS page in a second content 'block' (in this case a DIV), have you tried this?

Worked for me, with no changes to original conf.inc.php needed at all.
