I've tried several times the upgrade from 1.3.5 to 1.3.9 (described here http://forum.phpwcms.org/viewtopic.php?t=5822 )
... everything's ok except the News Module...... grgrrrrrrrrr..

News module is working - but it is still not complete.

Remember - you have to set special target page that can display news detail. If you use {SHOW_CONTENT...} this might not work as expected.

thank you very much for you answer Oliver !

I understand what you explained me..
But even if I simply try to display news detail with the help of news module (teaser+picture+text wysiwyg editor+read more...etc),
I mean : i don't want to redirect to an url/article (and when I redirect to an existing article, the result is the same...)
RESULT IS : the list page reloads ....
I've already been trying this News Module for one of my other websites : everything's ok ...
Here the question is : does this problem come for the fact that I've been upgrading my PHPWCMS ?????
This News Module is very very interesting ... now that I've tasted it, I can't imagine coming back to a DIY solution (copying articles in an Archive Category...etc)..
Know what i mean ??.... :D

well.. I found the solution..
I think there was a conflict between the News module and a category-menu named "News" redirected to the index page..
When I delete this category , everything's allright...

News CP is super content part. When we have something good we always want it to be even more better. It would be perfect if we could add few pictures to our news with possibility to display it using lightbox effect.

Aber klar geht das !

Suche dir die Anleitung zum Gallery Tag raus und den kannst du auch in das News einbinden.. gerade getestet, das funktioniert :)

This is working with the GALLERY Tag

Right you are, but what can you do, when zuker doesn't want a perfect {GALLERY} but only one image per news?
Then, even nesting would fail...
(in the long run only)

Hi guys,

Thanks for your answers and suggestions.

I know that it is possible to and pictures by using for example “image <div>” CP and inserting it in to news with {SHOW_CONTENT} replacement tag. But it takes time and it is a little bit annoying.
Usually I use few (3-6) pictures added to my news. It would be nice to have possibility to add pictures like we can add files for download to news currently.
Thank you Jensensen for pointing me to post my request to phpwcms issue list. I will do it today.

Suggestion to use GALLERY is acceptable but not fully clear to me at the moment.
How can I show the desired part of my gallery by using {GALLERY} replacement tag? I asked similar question few days ago (http://forum.phpwcms.org/viewtopic.php? ... 30#p109958) but did no get the answer. With {GALLERY} I get only the link list to my albums.

What should I do to get the result like there:http://jgbm.de/das-ist-sowas-von-neu.phtml
How my inserted GALLERY replacement tag should look to display my desired gallery level? {GALLERY…?} or ???
