Hey, I am having a problem with the rotator.

I installed everything as wanted. Now I want to choose the content part. It is displayed in the list field, but when I klick it I have to wait a little and then the screen changes to contentpart "simple text" (einfacher text). So I can not use the plug in. Why? What am I doing wrong?

Just found out something. When I try to change an existing content part, it is not possible (in my case images <div> to Rotator). But a new content part seems to work.

There I am again.

Now I can manage the player, but it doesn't display anything. Why?

Can you help me?

I couldn't find any information under the link you posted.

What is the problem with 1.3.9? There must be a way to fix it...

there is a new htaccess restriction in filestorage folder which denies access to the module.
uncomment this file and it works again. (_.htaccess)
I don't know the reason for this restriction right now, maybe Oliver can give us an explanation.

I have had a deeper look into the system but can´t find any restriction or problem.
The .htaccess file I don´t see. .........

The Modules (JW MediaPlayer und JW ImageRotator) are getting updated right now.
There is no download possible at the moment.
The Updates should be ready in early august.
The media player module is not compatible to the newest JW player (4.0)
So either wait for the update or use an older player (up to 3.14). Download older players here:http://code.longtailvideo.com/trac/browser/tags

Hi, I'm trying to download the updated JW ImageRotator from web casa-loca but the download link is gone.
What's up with that?

Is there actually any updated version of this great module?

Wouldn't recommend using older player versions...

I'm working on a website (phpwcms 1.3.9)
MY PROBLEM : JW media player only works with external source (Youtube url for example)
When I try to use internal source(.flv uploaded), nothing is shown ...
Is there something specal to do ??? in conf.inc ? somewhere else ????

The old module(s) v1 don't work with phpwcms 1.3.9
I have an update ready here but still have to wait for permissions in some copyright and licensing issues.
So please be patient a few more days or send me PM.

Ich hab den ImageRotator in eine bestehende Installation (1.3.9) kopiert.
Im FE spielte der IR die Bilder aber nicht ab. Erst nach erneutem einbinden der Fotos hats dann geklappt. Im BE haben die Playlists dann auch andere Namen - siehe Anhang.
Der alte IR funktionierte zwar, doch erschien beim Bildwechsel immer wieder mal ein schwarzer Hintergrund. Das ist nun nicht mehr der Fall.

PS: ich weiß, wir sind hier in phpwcms Modules English Aber mein Englisch liest sich wie ne Maschinenübersetzung von deutsch über chinesisch über russisch nach englisch. Daher lieber gleich muttersprachig

When you update the module, you need to go to every existing ImageRotator or MediaPlayer and update the contentpart!
