Gibt's Prognosen für 1.2.7? Wenn ja, lasst es mich wissen und ich geb welche für ExData!

Special ExData-Search is planned but does not have priority.

Is a way to do in the new Exdata module something like this:



I mean to have organize in categories and to show the name of the category on top of the selection?

The Ideea is a selection form where the user must to select a City and then if he want a category (like: restaurants, hotels...) if is not selecting any category then it should show all the entrys for that city but each with the category label ..like in the picture above.

I installed ExData without problems, I see in the Module section the ExData-link, I can open the Window, I choose "Kategorie hinzufügen", fill out the fields and save with the "Kategorie hinzufügen"-button and - nothing happens. "Keine Einträge" ist written and no new category was installed. The 5 ExData-tables exist in the Database and all are empty after "Kategorie hinzufügen". Does somebody know what's here wrong? Thanks for a tip.

What phpwcms-version do you use?
Exdata runs only up to 1.2.6 at the moment
Your problem has to do with the charset; use ISO-8859-1 not utf-8
but you shouldn't change the charset in phpwcms versions 1.2.7 and higher
you could use ExData backend in english, then it runs, but that's no real solution, I admit.

Better:
In some days I will release an update for ExData that runs with 1.2.8 and utf-8 and has new features too, such as:

- filter by content
- search content
- improvements in the sort options
- change field order
- new placement of navigation elements with ajax drag and drop
- a few more backend languages

I use version 1.2.6. I changed the charset to ISO-8859-1 and it works now. (Und plötzlich kommen auch die Umlaute )

I got the Super-Mod installed and running. Playing around now with the templates, cool.
Two things I did not find: the Filter and the search function. As far as I understood in the documentation (on the end) the hack ther is for searching with phpwcms-search (the regular one). breitsch has an example for filter and search on his site. i am running 2.52 and phpwcms 1.2.6, but cannot find the settings...

oops, i just saw those are features for the next version, sorry.

I'm including Google Maps right now, thats why it isn't out already.
