Yes, i have the Release 1.1-RC4 22-06-2004 with the MOD included.. but i can't do it works fine

but you say you have add the mod!?
did you use an upgraded release!? or an fresh install!?

I'm assuming freetype is very important to this feature.
is it not possible to use another solution to as my host can't install 'freetype' as this invalidates thier user suppoer with 'Plesk'

just asking so one day i may not be seen as the poor old man without nice text on his sites

check your phpinfo(); - freetype should be listed in GD section. It's not neccessary to have it installed as "stand-alone" freetype.

Now it works. I have solved it changing the properties of the /content folder. I don't understand this, because i changed since the start the content/gt to 777.

Strange behavior, but already works

I just did the "Release 1.1-RC4 22-06-2004" phpwcms install which is supposed to have the Graphical Text MOD installed but I can't seem to get the MOD working.

Is there a quick checklist from A to Z I can go thru to make sure I have it all in place.

you should check if you have GD2 & Freetype instaaled ( and working)

you have to enable GT MOD in conf.inc.php
