look at the docu site! in german there is gästebuch in english guestbook
both contentparts use the same db but with different templates!

the english one has the ID 54 (thats the main gb) the german one uses the alias id (54) with an different template so you can use at one site 1 guestbook/comment content part.

understand!? the alias id is only if you wanna use these content part at more then one place! i think that was all a little worried?!

I think we are talking about 2 different things here.
like i said maybe it's me but this is not what i mean.

i dont want 2 guestbooks in different languages.
what i want is a option so people/visiters can comment on a atricles i wrote.
in other words it's not possible to have multiple guestbooks because every article has to have it's own comment function.

i hope you understand me

yes every article hast to have it's own content part.. but where is the problem about that ?!? I think it really is not to much of work to add a content part: guestbook/comm. when you create a new article.. it might take you about 10 seconds...

i understand your idea's now , it's a bit off but hey nobody is perfect.

one small simple question though.
if i sign the guestbooks a get a error like

Code: Select all

A technical problem occured while you have tried to sign the guestbook
not signed - fill in all neccessary info

but all fields are filled out

ps: i hope it's not a as simple as the last question
