I understand all that, but if I click on such a rewrited link, I get a 404
If I turn rewriting of, everything works just fine

so did you rename the _.htaccess into .htaccess????
the _.htaccess file will you find in the root of your wcms installation.

No I didn't, because then I get a 403

but anyway you have to do it... try to look inside the file and do as it say if you have installed your cms in a subfolder...

Maybe your account does not support rewrite - when you use IIS on Windows you don't have support for this - and many hosters does not allow.
