hi pSouper, i didn't suspect, that you were doubting me... ;-)
i just wanted to tell about it, because frold was interested in it.
in the intranet project it was used for the menu and for the top link also.
there is no prob to put {content} or the nav_table in it. all you have to do is just to put an element with an id (for example div) around your content and nav_table. that's it.

This mod is great
This mod/hack is great....only one question...which may have to do with the parameters I am setting in my search content part. What I would like to have happen is to have next/previous output below my results. Right now it is showing up at top...before results listing. Any ideas?
Cheers,
jsw

ok people, i'm sorry, but i have to announce an update...
when i changed the function to work also with $_GET Variables, i didn't recognize, that if you are using the VTS Mod, it will think you are visiting different pages (because the URL isn't the same anymore).
So i changed back to use $_POST variables which also means, that it is now working with forms. and to send the forms without buttons, a little javascript is needed.
so i changed it all and and now it is working. but javascript is needed.
so if you want a no-javascript-needed-search, stay with SOMP v1.2
if the different URLs in VTS aren't annoying you, stay with SOMP v1.3
and if you don't care about users who don't have JS enabled and want a clean VTS, then use SOMP v1.3.1
