Yes, server sync is definitely the way forward. A friend of mine uses the delicious plugin which i have always mean to set up but never got around to. I have installed foxmark and it is great.

What i like best about firefox 3 is the speed it renders a webpage at, it is noticeably faster than 2 and other browsers. While we are on the subject of firefox plugins here are a few I love:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/189 - shows a screen grab or the website in Google search results
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4980 - lets you know of any discount vouchers available when on e-commerce websites.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1146 - creates a screen grab simply, easily and quickly

Thanks for the screengrab link. I was looking for a tool like this, since I was not able to find the plugin I once upon a time installed somewhere... (Pearl Crescent Page Saver Basic)

For me are the following add-ons absolutely crucial, don't want to live without them

FireGestures - Execute almost any commands by gestures in Firefox.

Probably more classic:
Web Developer Bar - Bar with numerous helpful tools for web developing.
HTML Validator - Validating HTML in Firefox.

And yes! The rendering is fast, that was the first thing that impressed me about it. Best Browser ever!
