..not rocking anymore!!!
Well, how deep will we be able to nest these Custom_Blocks ???
Only one level deep - that's a pity, really - thus preventing a flexible layout.... is there a plan behind I don't know or is it a bug? (r244)
Formerly this has been possible and has been really cool - would be nice to have it back again...
Or am I completely on a wrong track?...

CP html seems to be doing it - but unfortunately doesn't have any templating system.... could be useful really....

Hi Claus,
If you are right, then is a big step backwards!!!
But, I think it's still working. I did some tests right now with an (r_248) installation which succeeds.
Which CP's make trouble - refuse???

I tried it with plain text - there is possible only one step deep
But eg with Wysiwyg I just did it 3 steps deep and it worked....
Thanks for stepping in
You know - I need this templating stuff ... and CP Wysiwyg now has a template ....

I'm - really - wondering that this CP still isn't template-based.
This probably would be the biggest "Flexibility-Endflash"!
Ok, you can do the same with "(nested) custom content blocks" anyway - but less comfortable.
In any case it's worth to add another ISSUE...

I'll check CP plain text later, maybe tomorrow.

Hey Jensenesen,
great!
Simply imagine the following scenario:
CB with three columns prepared within template
Each column holds a CB
the center column will be needed to split up into two new columns - throw in a template with two columns (again each column has a CB)
Now target ... and to find that stuf while editing: we have these nice little editor pencils

....
See the picture?
If I prepare a bunch of templates and CBs, it's rather a question of keeping the overview (I say: cheatsheet

)
But this can be enhanced even more - and would be even cooler to handle if CP html would have a templating possibility ( but seems to work with wysiwyg too

)
....but perhaps this is only one way and there are many others?
btw: this urgently came up again while reading this insane discussion about y aml license practice - very unsatisfying stuff...

and here are the licence conditions of cheat sheet: do not use this->cheat sheet

instead that-> cheat sheet
Perhaps we can do some replacers or other column helpers to make this system phpwcms only

I'll tell you
Jensensen wrote:{CUSTOM_BLOCK {BOX1}}
Sure? Show me the way to the next CB-bar...
I'll prepare some examples soon - then you'll be able to get
my picture (at least

)
But by doing it my way I'll be able to insert almost
any column template
anywhere I want - and then I also can insert
any additional template into
any thusly predefined column - again anywhere I need to...
And in cause of being in a good mood I then throw in a third template into the second one
