I have both in usage - Mootools and jQuery. Both have Pros and Cons.
But first - each function should work without JavaScript.
And a shopping is something that should be handled by server.

Check those links listed above
- as for me - doing most of my work off of my localhost
- anyway - should be an easy way to incorporate the library
inside wcms
- article listings (similar to mootools >> animated reveals) comes to mind for starters - but tons of other possibilities as well

- guessing that for wcms backend
- you are considering such tools such as folder tree (drag-drop)
- at some stage - hehe

ok, I was thinking that the shopping cart was that of the newer version of phpwcms...I thought it had been released.
Anyway I agree: exciting development
