did not read everything, just a thought about this topic:
even if it sometimes seems not really to go forward (updates of the last months prove the opposite
), no one should forget how much time is necessary to create this system, administrate all the stuff, give a kind of support in the forum, ...
i think many - of course not all - do not even have an idea how much time things like these can consume.
just an idea that could be taken into account: i told myself to donate a certain amount of money per project i earn money with (even if only it may be 10 or 20 bucks). why? because it's something about fairness...
