OK Freunde,

auch ich habe versucht, mir redaxo flink mal anzuschauen - aber lokal lief erstmal garnichts (XP). Also schaue ich garnicht erst weiter.

Jaja - jeder hat auf das CMS besehen einen anderen Ansatz. Ich aus meiner Sicht hatte ursprünglich nicht die Absicht 100%-ige Freiheit zu schaffen. Das bringt nur Probleme. Bzgl. der eigenen Content Parts würde ich sagen, dass phpwcms schon relativ komplett ist. Sicher, das eine oder andere fehlt - kommt aber nach und nach. Was meistens fehlt, sind komplexe Module - und die programmiert man auch für redaxo höchstvermutlich nicht mal eben zwischen Tür und Angel. Was dort als freie Content Parts verkauft wird, sind nur umgestellte Basis-Elemente - ist eben ein anderer Ansatz. In redaxo stehen die Content Parts eher für einen Teil des Templates - man baut also nicht wirklich Content Parts zusammen, sondern Templateeingabemodule (mal ganz frei).

Ich will mir über redaxo kein abschließendes Urteil bilden - es exisitiert sicher in der Konzeption länger als phpwcms - sonst gäbe es sicher keine Version 2.6. Schließlich krepeln wir hier seit langem im Bereich 1.2. Aber auch redaxo nutzt HTML. Daran kommt keiner vorbei. Wenn das an phpwcms kritisiert wird, dann weiß ich auch nicht.

@VSCOPE - etwas Unmut von meiner Seite:
Die ist die Community von phpwcms. Solche Beiträge sind nicht gut, da es plötzlich um Rechtfertigung geht und immer auch um das Vergleichen von Äpfeln mit Birnen. Sagen was stört und wie es besser gemacht werden könnte.

Ach Jérôme,

habe die Dinger fast 10 Jahre lang verkauft - und im oberen Stockwerk stehen noch 2 Produktiv-Kisten (G4 + iBook). Die bleiben aber der Grafikerin (meiner Partnerin) vorbehalten. Ich selbst bin voll konvertiert - mein PowerBook ging letztes Jahr...

Trotzdem ist mein Haupt Feature Request die Modularität zu erhöhen.
Hardgecodete Module sind net leiwand wie der Wiener sagt

Don't be foold by this friendly 'nothing is happening here' approach by Pappnase, DusX. They are gathering and they found a new secret system. They are all talking in codes and do not want us to retreive any of the new information. This new system is going to be spread through underground channels I've heard, just to this new clan..

I am busy trying to hack their G-code but they are a powerful clan indead but we will concure at the end!

they simply are talking about DusX, and they do it in german cause he dosn't understand german!

there is no secret system! only another cms. but i thought it's not so comfortable like phpwcms.

P.S. I know the G-code well enough to understand it all - just takes a while to decode it.. This 'new' system is nothing compared to the phpwcms..One HUGE asset with phpwcms is the great & helpful community!

I had a look at the site.. I won't bother trying the CMS out (can't read the instructions) but the interfaces do look something similar...
I am very happy learning WCMS...
I wish that we had a structured system for writing a manual though...
Has anyone setup a WIKI for this purpose yet? I know I say a disscusion somewhere here about it...
I think that even with my very limited experiance with WCMS I could lend a hand writing parts of a manual.

ouhm what do you guys say about the frontend / render folder ? Yes maybe you can't include any cntpart but there obviously is no problem to include any other mod into wcms on this way.
