have you set graphical mod to 1 in config.nc.php?

I feel dumb! I thought I had done that.

Now all works as it is supposed to. My next try is the extra data module which is what started this whole process in the first place.

Normally you do not have to reinstall it. Maybe you have some false settings for MySQL charset and collation and phpwcms charset setting.

Always check that first.
