hi guys,

is google translator playing games with me or did I read that thier is now a mod that offers a repTag that secures an article for user/password entry only?

I have a huge need to have a some articles not publically visible unless unless logged in. HOWEVER the login is not the same as user/admin but a third way. This login should only give acces to the article an d not the backend.

is this similer to the mod mentioned?

hi p,
Translate kurtyy:

Hey Folks,

I have with a friend build a many features for phpwcms.

Short Feature List:

Publicfunction released that is articles with status "not public" are hidden for the user.
(so you can navigation points a total of turns off before the user is not logged in)

Sessionmanagement with a simple (include) form in the frontent (user can logged in and logged out)

new replacementtags for user_name, user_mail and so on
replacementtags for sitemaps a link open a popup and there is the sitemap

the wysiwyg editor have new features (selectlist with dynamic functions current date, loginstatus) the user see little icons

adaptation article code:
we have (it is better for us) the part code altered there you can now write feasible code and the code parsed automatically. BORDERLESS

we still works on some will still come to it. Who have interest at the expansions, report us.

not the best english but it is english
best regards, jan

morning jan :)
I read your post earlier but couldn't quite understand the finer details of it.
I'm guest 'USER' is the same as currently exists and will log you in to the backend. nice but unfortunatly not what I need :(

I was hopeing against all hope that it may mean I could issue passwords for individuall documents to groups/individuals. This could be done with a bit of work i guess, but not as yet

when will you release it and let Oliver see the code - so he might use it - if the code is good enough?

the long and short of the message is...

kurtyy and friends have made some mods for phpwcms.

1: a mod that offers a new FRONTEND login function.
this allows anyone you wouldn't give backend logins to (as they are non contributors) but have sensitive information that only certain peoples should be allowd to view.
give them a login and password and a whole new load of menu's apear :)

very nice too.

I'll let you know more later as i'm stuck for time right now.
