ionronck..

Ah, ok..It's binary records..

But my problem still remains..Nothing of the content(main text) will be saved..I have the SPAW editor..Does that matter?

Hm, I think I'm not going to work to much with my current WCMS because I am afraid that I can't transfer it to the new version of WCMS easily!!

Really cool that a new version is coming out hopefully next weekend!! Does anyone know what has been added or changed?? Some hints from our hero(read: Oliver)?

Take care!

without out knowing it 100% - I guess Oliver didn´t change anything yet.... He have had some project he need to finish first...

I don´t think Oliver will add the block to phpwcms at the moment - but only oliver can answer that... But Im sure he think the same as I do - It have to be a new content part if useble - read my previous post!...

But we can hope!

And ofcourse he had changed something (even if it is just a tiny bit, it is still exciting! :P ) otherwise he wouldn't say that he hopefully would release a new version next weekend (his post from yesterday)..

I think 'the blog' is great that it is just a separate button. Then I can disable the rest for the customer and then can just take care of the news. Well, that dependse on the customer ofcourse but I just do not like when they mess up things..

Snobba,
I had some issues regarding magic quotes and the spaw editor. The solution which probably wasn't ideal was to take the aporeplace() out of the insert statement for the article content. I ended up getting pretty confused as to whether this was required for the spaw editor or if the magic quotes were on or what scenario made this change needed. In any sense that is one thing I did to get things working. I am pretty sure this is a bad way to do this but it is how I did it. :)

Maybe that will help.

*I do emphasize that Oliver doesn't feel this is a good idea so this suggestion is only for the blog stuff and nothing else.
