100% Height css border

Hi everyone, long time since ive been here like the new look.

I have the 1.3.3 version of the cms installed as weve found another site that it will work for but im having trouble finding information on a problem i have.

i have a border assigned to the left column, but sometimes the main column excceeds the height of the left column. is it possible to assign a 100% value to the css of the left columns border?

i fixed it in the end, i was assigning it to the wrong block >.<
