Tutorial for shop-module and hack to use shop in 1.3.3

Post by breitsch »

Here you find a tutorial for the shop-module
http://web.casa-loca.com/index.php?shopmodule
NOTE: the download-file contains a modified shop-module to use with phpwcms 1.3.3. Please follow the install instructions in the pdf.
You can use the tutorial for phpwcms 1.3.5 without changing your installation (with some minor restrictions)

And yes, there is this button...

Hi, I'm using 1.3.3 and I've set up the shop according to your tutorial. It works pretty nice but I'm experiencing a problem: shipping costs are not added to the bill as long as only one product is in the cart (doesn't matter the quantity, so even if I buy 30 or 500 of them). Shipping costs are added only when there are at least 2 products in the cart but again, independently of their quantity the lowest shipping rate is applied.
Do you know why it is like that? Please help me... I can't launch my shop untill I've fixed this.

thanks!

Did you entered a weight for every product? Afaik the shipping costs are caclulated in dependance of the overall weight of an order...

Yes, I've entered the weight of each product and even set the maximal weight for shipping to 1g. It doesn't change anything. There always have to be at least two DIFFERENT products for the shop to apply the shipping costs.

Does anyone have any idea?
