Why no default, or starter template?

I love this product so far ( been playing with is a few days), and I am wondering why there is not even a default or starter template. Just something to have a new user get off the ground with? This is actually the first time, I have used a script where it did not give the users something - basic layout, default skin, just something.

Also I am having trouble finding alternative templates for this, is there such an animal? A site with a few different options to moneyor free, with some install instructions?

Most people grab olivers phpwcms.de design for their default or use the examples he provides for explaining how it the templates work. If you need someone to install or setup phpwcms I know oliver does and I do it as well (for my work). You can PM me or email me at webmaster(at)umemusic.com

If you get a designer to design something for you I can put it in phpwcms for you as well. I am not much of a designer so I don't really have any templates. Of course everyone is happy to help here on the forum as well so no need to think you have to pay for support

Thanks I appreciate the offer help. I will take a stab at getting the phpwcms's default site installed and play with that.
