strange characters with {PRINT} rt

some strange characters are appearing in the PRINT function.

This is what appears on the normal screne:-
grade of walk, namely, “slow minus”; these are the Wednesday Hikers or “Wednesdays” or “Midweekers” for short.

This is what appears on the PRINT screen:-

Why is this happening?
