[SOLVED] Dynamic font replacement - how get it working?

Post by update »

Hi,
I've come across (again) this site: http://www.stewartspeak.com/projects/dtr/
and tried to get it working with phpwcms, but didn't succed.
When calling it directly, everything is fine - the server is doing it's job.
But when I try to call it within phpwcms - nothing. The php script isn't running.
Tried now for several hours but no way.
Perhaps sombody has an idea? This would be great. Thank you.
Greetings
claus

Why don't use the graphical text replacement tag inside phpwcms?

yes I do use it - it has been just so teasing to play around with something new
The main reason to look at it has been that it can be applied automatically to certain css styled text all over the site - no need to code something and hassle around when it changes.
I think it's a pretty cool feature, but ... just no idea

There is a long article at http://www.alistapart.com/articles/dynatext/, also for configuration. A little troubleshooting is at the aforementioned page.
Just have a look ...

Work for me, don't forget to use the the local path on your web server in replacement.js and heading.php. Take a look:

Goran,
thank you - got it, because you proved that it will work.
Quite a nice tool, isn't it?
