PHPXREF - phpWcms Resource - 133 possible?

Post by jsw_nz »

I came across this PHPXRef reference of phpWcms (version 1.2.5)
and wanted to ask others in the community about this
- a great resource of looking at code functions and resources:

can view here
http://phpxref.com/xref/phpwcms/nav.htm ... ex.html.gz

Is it possible that this could be updated to 133?

Or still another question - is the PHPXRef application framework
something that could be downloaded and run locally
guessing the site is using phpDocumentor, anybody used locally?
- have to like this - great way to see function lists et al...

Cheers
John

~LOOKS~ like all it would take... is for THAT website to upgrade all the phpwcms files in their installation to the latest -and- adjust THEIR "phpxref.cfg" accordingly. I ~think~ they have just archived those many types of Open Source PHP projects -and- are illustrating the programs usage.

YES... it's here at http://phpxref.sourceforge.net/

Cheers DeXXus,

Just downloaded and will be busy trying
to create a local version of 133....
Will post updates on progress....

all best,
:D

UPDATE:

Just downloaded and installed - ran the command line smoothly -
everything seemed OK - HOWEVER the variable and function list lookup link (at top of page IS NOT being generated - might be because some of the variables could not be determined - so I hacked it by pasting the standard links on the live website and pasting into the generated index.html page

The search form is buggy in IE, but works in firefox.
Nice resource now.....

thanks DeXXus

Cheers DeXXus,

After creating a working index using xref I have a new found appreciation of the sheer complexity and brilliance of OliG's code -- How can one guy program with such expertise! I liken OliG to a php Beethoven......

A true orchestrator

cheers
:)

PS - the idea of having an up-to-date XREF of 133 would be great for community... just a thought

- could ftp
- if you're interested.....
- maybe PM me - busy during day today (monday in nz)
- but could upload tonight...

Hi Kosse,

My extraction, although working - still has a few missing variables
- these need to be declared in the config
- so I might open this up to the community
- someone with more experience - hehe - than me to properly
sort phpWcms variables - the online version is not perfect either

- this might be a wee project for a POWER user
- such as ...OliG himself

- knowing him - he might have a better solution
- but the original link posted is impressive for those wishing to
go 'under the bonnet'.

Having said that I can supply what I have as is - 95% good....

Maybe the master might read this - a great wee resource - methinks

cheers from nz
:D
