I created a background image alike img\backend\background.jpg (phpwcms version 1.2.8 ) and wondered that my image is over 18 KB large, instead of the original 653 Byte.
The image dimensions are the same (21 x 466), the brightness and saturation values too, just the hue value I changed. I'm using Photoshop and even if I save as zero quality JPEG, the size becomes 18 KB.
What's the "trick"?

addition: have a solution now, "save for web" in photoshop...
JPEG image size
