Hallo,
ich habe das System gerade nur vage vor Augen,
aber wenn du im WYSIWYG-Editor mit einem Rechtsklick auf das
Bild gehst wird irgendwas wie Bildinformationen
angezeigt wo das zu ändern geht.
Hoffe, das es dir wesentlich eine kleine Hilfe ist

also wenn er den CP "text mit Bild" gewählt hat, wir er es wohl nicht im wysiwyg editor eingefügt haben - wenn doch dann gehe den von lars beschriebenen weg.
wenn du das bild über die option unterhalb des editors eingefügt hast (also phpwcms intern) dann gibt es da mit sicherheit ein CSS Klasse, die du mit margin und padding zur abstandsgewinnung verwenden kannst.
schau also mal nach im quelltext deiner seite und suche den abschnitt in dem das bild referenziert wird. meist ist da noch eine tabelle oder ein <div> drum. dort suchst du nach dem class attribut und übernimmst das in deine css datei (wenn er nicht schon vorhanden ist)
hoffe ebenfalls das hilft dir
