Integrating user/role logins for web site users

We are considering using phpwcms to manage content for a customers web site. They are requiring that certain documents on the site be viewable only by employees of the company and not external users. Does phpwcms have some capablility to allow user/role access of a web site? If not, is there anything that may restrict us from implementing something on top phpwcms? Thank you.

If you have some days - user management will be included until then. I'm working on this. There are ways to handle it now - but it's not imlemented in backend...

I want to know if you're talking about rights management ?

I see in 1.2.9 version that "authorized to access" don't exist. Is it temporary or rights will completly change ?

Is there a solution for implemented the old rights management into v1.2.9 ?

We need that features and we want to know if it's possible.

there is no "real" rights management in older releases - just a very flat solution.
