Post custom hacks and enhancements for phpwcms here only. Maybe some of these things will be included in official release later.

addon

Post by phalancs »

This might be a final addon:
We should further integrate the usermanagement into the registration panel (new registrations: auto assign to specified usergroup), then we are big step ahead :)

Registration Panel:

Goal: it would be great to have a form builder known from the "contact form generator" contentpart to create custom profiles.

See the thread for details and download (already published):

The images look very promising!

But could'nt you give us a link to get it for testing it?

The user panel phalancs wrote is not bad too, but as i see on your images yours could fit better for my purposes.

Otherwise (this goes to phalancs), the inclusion of phpBB is also what i want and need.

Could'nt you both work together and share your work or don't you like each other

Thank you both in advance

Hey Erich,

is this project dead or are you still working on it?
It would be greatly appreciated!
You know, its pretty mean to get us all excited about a proper user
management and then disappear like that.
I've been promising my people a working user management
for months and I start running out of excuses

As far as i know, erich_k4 is waiting for the 1.2.9 stable version (or whatever the new name will be), before he will finish the job

I would do it the same way... if i could

Hello!

i'm not waiting for a 1.2.9 or something else anymore...:!:

the usercontrol is not dead, but this project goes far beyond a simple hack or mod, so many changes in core code were necessary, some parts are completely rewritten, there are some new features (e.g event logging), some are in development (new filemanager, newsletter, image handling).

in short:

this version will not be backward compatible, it would say it will be a stand alone release .

and i think the phpwcms forum is the wrong place for further discussion...

but here is a small demo site: http://www.kmedv.at/indigo

login data: customer1, customer1 and customer2, customer2 to test the group and usercontrol features...
