Artcle Display Problem

Post by theajj »

Hi,

I have a problem when i display the site structure and article list. It used to work fine but seems to be having problems on this pc. Basically the list just stops mid way with something like "</t0" or something. Also when I display/edit an article it just cuts off with "<td width0".

I have no idea what is happening - any ideas?

I'm using 1.2.3 dev with IE 6.0.2900.2180.

Thanks,

Adrian

Please upgrade! Or do you have patched your install.

Thanks. It sounds like I need to upgrade. Is the upgrade procedure easy? Is it documented anywhere?

Hi,

I have upgraded my system but it makes no difference. I am still getting problems with the article listing just cutting off. I am not sure how to solve this. I have a copy of the whole system and can give log on details to show you what I am talking about. This is very strange.....

Thanks,

Still Got Issues

Post by theajj »

Hi,

Ok - I started again. I have done a complete new install of latest version 1.2.8 and have created brand new database etc. There is no content. I am trying to set up my file structure which works fine up to a point then when I try and add a new directory the page stops displaying e.g.

Images
> About
> Banners
> Contact
> HDRI
> Home
> The Bumble Ball
> The Chess Game
> The Eggs
> The Matreshka Dolls
.
.
.
> The XYZ Grid href="href="include/inc_act/act_file.php?delete=31%7C9" title="delete dir: The XYZ Grid" onclick="GP_popupConfirmMsg(0

The page just then stops displaying. Please help. Is there a limit to the number of folders possible in the file centre??

Thanks.

WELCOME theajj!! You have to create categories and articles and content parts to have CONTENT ;-)

Why so -many- folders for holding images. You are making it look like a menu structure -or- something (which it is not). I don't know your familiarity level with phpWCMS, but I suggest you visit the links in my "signature" for the BASICS.

Hi,

So many folders because I have lots of images and files for each of my pages - have a look at http://www.squaretomato.co.uk/povray. I wanted to have a folder for each page essentially. Maybe I am going about it the wrong way?
