hey all,
is anyone else getting thier POUND (£ or £) suffixed by an ACIRC (  or  ) ?
if i use a '£' symbol in my content it is displayed in the backend as a £ BUT it is displayed in the frontend as... £
is this something with mysql or phpwcms?
is thier anything I can do to fix this?
every POUND is automatically displayed wiht an ACIRC before
Mmm, my wild guess: UTF-8 doesn't like it, try iso-8859-1 o 2
Cheers

thanks guys,
I think this is a contender for the most delayed responce in forum history
truth is, i completely forgot aout this problem and have only just redicovered it :S
can i ask if I have installed and build a site using one format what would i need to do to conver/migrate to another format?
I guess changing the config.inc.php file from "UTF-8" to "iso-8859-1" would help
do i need to change that of my phpmyadmin too? and to what?
thanks for your help
