Suggestion:

It would be nice to have a button called "new window" to enable forwarding to a blank window when clicking on a menu element.

simple forwarding already works, but it opens the target in the "_self" window...

Why don't you write _blank behind your forwarding link

intern: index.php?alias _blank

pepe ich habs gerade vor ein paar sekunden selbst gefunden:
