hi there,

since today i have problems with vts. no changes on any file or mysql.
today i log into the system and want to show the stats. but i only get the message:

phpOpenTracker Error: Can't open file: 'cms_pot_visitors.MYD'. (errno: 145)

anyone has an idea what to do? the statistics run much months now without any problems.

try to repair your database tables. i think it is possible with phpmyadmin

after repairing the database (via phpmyadmin) the errormessage is gone, but all entries to. also visitors are not being logged anymore ;(

some month ago, I've got the same problem and after repairing the table it worked for me.
sorry for that.
got a backup?
try to rewrite it...

i hve a backup. but i am looking for another statistic solution now. the vts is filling the db like no other ... :roll:

yes, vts is good, but only for smaller sites.
google.de/analytics is very good - if you have no problem with google as datagrabber :-) try it.

is there a solution, which write in textfiles? I think that would be better than writing to DB?! or is it not so good because of the serverperformance.
I'm not shure...
