Included Gallery

Post by mdgroot »

Hi all,

I just want to share with you the Gallery software that I installed within my PHPwcms site. It's called JAlbum (http://www.jalbum.net) and it will allow you to completely modify and skin the interface so that it can be a part of your website. And best of all, it's free.

I have now completely integrated it in PHPwcms as you may see at http://www.arcarion.eu

I was searching for a long time for the right Gallery software, and I believe this is the best choice.

Hi,

this looks pretty cool. Nice frontend-rendering, but did you also to manage to include the gallery in the _backend_?

Won't you be so kind as to share your experience with us. I.e: how did you do it? :)

Greetings, Ren.

Thanks.
I used the ExhibitPlus skin and modified it heavily so it matched my site.
The software and skinning is very self explaning.

I have deleted all my pictures from my backend (too much hassle to add pictures all the time). The other big disadvantage is the huge content/images folder (which keeps groing).
So, I decided to have all of my pictures outside of PHPwcms in a seperate folder and not in the backend anymore.

I'm using IFRAME to show the details of the fotoalbums.
