Fresh install, no WYSIWYG editors working..?

Hi all,

I have done a fresh install of phpwcms, using the web hositing companies "Fantastico" auto-install system.

The problem is that no matter which browser I use in the backend to edit articles, I can't get the WYSIWYG editors to come up. I have tried setting the conf.inc.php option:

$phpwcms["wysiwyg_editor"]    = 3;  //0 = no wysiwyg editor, 1 = HTMLarea, 2 = FCKeditor, 3 = browser based

to 1, 2, or 3 but in IE and FireFox the WYSIWYG editor won't come up.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Browsing the installation folders on the server, the HTMLarea and FCKeditor folders are there, seem to have all the right stuff in them and seem to have OK permissions.

Hi

make shure that you have Javascript enabled in your Browsers.
Also try to dissable your Firewall temporary

or something was going wrong by uploading the Files to your Server - sometimes this happens and some Files are missed or corrupt.
