install problems

hi
can u help me

i started to install the script
but when i start
the first stip show me this writing

i installed it but when i put the username
and password ... it say to me that "Errors during login!"

?!!!

Drop the tables from database and start over.
Set ~all~ files above to chmod values
Run setup and make sure to checkmark create admin account. Leave "default" Admin username/pass.
Save "config.inc.php" from clickable link near end of setup procedure.
Overwrite "/config/phpwcms/config.inc.php" with your "saved" copy.
Check login using defaults. Change after it's working.
Initial "index.php" page will be blank until you create a page layout and some content.
Delete "setup" folder when all is working.
See links in my "sig" for basic resources to getting started.
Come back and post "config.inc.php" settings for // database values (minus passwords) // site values // paths ...as a next step.

maybe he has choosen an not so gut headline for his thread! but i think in cause of this you don't need to act in this way!

esp. to delete the headline! we have hunderts of postings with an not so good title! but please say it friendly!
so i recreate the old topictitle!

If he cant create a telling subject there shouldnt be any at all - thats why I changed it to .

I dont even understand that you wanted to answer such post... I would have closed it...

Its a simple newsgroup rule that you dont spam with such subject!

What about asking torab if he/she would be ok to change his headline?

can you please change the subject of your headline, that would help, so people will understand it's about an installation problem, and you'll get a better feedback too? (... well in your case it did work, having Frold, DeXXus and Pappnase as people answering your post is like the crème de la crème

)

Because your title (even if I understand you're in trouble, otherwise wouldn't be like help meeeeeeeeeeeeeee

suggest like... not much (imagine we have like 50.000 posts in this forum, and almost all are about help me please)

In this forum we try to use titles that apply to the subject.
In your case what DeXXus suggested sounds good, or
Setup problem "Permission denied"?

Anyway, what Pappnase suggested is valid too, try to install latest DEV version 1.2.6 (look in docu-site you'll find it).

yes i've done it! i think everybody starts sometime! so why edit or close a thread! it's better to advise him / her friendly! but not i this way you prefer.
