disable wysiwyg editor in article summary

hello, how can i disable the wysiwyg editor in the article summary??

Hello

1. Open your fav. Editor
2. Open "config/phpwcms/conf.inc.php"
3. GoTo Line 39
4. Find

$phpwcms["wysiwyg_editor"]    = 2;  //0 = no wysiwyg editor, 1 = HTMLarea, 2 = FCKeditor, 3 = browser based

5. Replace

Code: Select all

$phpwcms["wysiwyg_editor"]    = 0;  //0 = no wysiwyg editor, 1 = HTMLarea, 2 = FCKeditor, 3 = browser based

6. Drink coffee or have a smoke.

i followed your advise but still got the wysiwyg editor, it only changed its appearance...
is there another place to set config values for it?

did you logout and relogin?

also empty your browser cache.

ok the wysiwyg editor has gone from the article_summary field but now i can't add a wysiwyg piece of content, how can i disable the editor out of the article summary but still enable it for the content??
