changeable columns with using the same template (in IE)

I have a problem that I don't know how to solve..

I don't understant why IE shows extra spaces in a table of 3 cols depending on the contents of each cell. If the cell has no content, the cols becomes more narrow. And if it contains an image, the whith is enlarged..
Look at this 3 pages. They all use the same template:

Viewed using IE, the with of the 3 cols is different. Using Firefox the with is maintained.

Does anybody knows where my be the solution...?
