What is the standard path for linking uploaded files (i.e. an image) in an html based article?
Thanks.
File path link for insertion into html?
path
Hi,
this surely depends on where you uploaded it
I mean, if you use the integrated filemanager the path would be like "/phpwcms_filestorage/somemd5hash.jpg" where somemd5hash stands for the cryptic alphanumeric name phpwcms generates during storing the files. You could get that filename by viewing the pics inside the filemanager and look at the image properties.
Another way would for instance be FTP-upload into /pictures where the path would be "/pictures/yourfilename.jpg" or maybe you could even use the {IMAGE:} replacement tag (untested by me).
Cheers, Ren Hoek
