fcms Flash frontend v0.5 released

Post custom hacks and enhancements for phpwcms here only. Maybe some of these things will be included in official release later.

fcms Flash frontend v0.5 released

Post by Fulvio Romanin »

Here it is.

This is my xmas present to the community: fcms engine made open source (gnu licence is there just as a caution, you know me)

The page contains also six two-minute tutorial flash videos in english (swf format, forgive my bad pronunciation) and fully commented code.

fcms requires flash 7 to be used, and intermediate / advanced actionscripting skills.

i opened up a forum right here: http://www.fulvioromanin.it/forum to help and share and go on with the development. I'd love if you could join me there instead of cluttering this forum, since most of the issues will probably be about flash more than php.

Much love to everybody, Merry Christmas :)

Ok, ok... :?
some are going to say your fan club is harassing you, but I had just so much fun (yeah, fun, learning while smiling is verrry nice!) listening to your 6 :!: tutorials...

Great stuff there, I'm looking forward to test it (with vow) and try to make something of it! (though after seeing u guys I already abandoned the idea of being myself a decent flash coder some day...)

What an incredible amount of work! CONGRATS

@kosse: thx :)

@frold: if you have flash installed, just click on them and go; if you don't, try embedding them into a page. I could have done that too but i thought somebody would like to look that offline, so..

I spent all day trying to make this work. (and listening swf tutorials)
I made all config and all I get is empty page
Are you sure that we need only two things to configure?
Does anyone else install this successfully?
