XHTML, no tables. is it possible ?

Post by shocktone »

Hi guys,

is it possible to get pure CSS layout without tables from phpwcms ?
I think the navigation stuff in the source code has to been changed,
Would this be alot of work ? Did anybody already do this ?
Is it planed for future releases ?
Thanks alot.

Hi

but there are still some Tables in the Code - and this is OK until CSS is not
the same in every Browser.

Yes I know. But there are still a lot of tables in the layout.
It took a bit of practise but my sites look the same in the common browsers (IE 5.5, IE 6.0, Firefox, Opera etc.)

I remeber that there were some problems with navi cause it was hard coded with tables ?
