hello

today again an new cvs release.

most improtant in this release.

changes in the guestbook template and contentpart
know it's possible to ban IP's.

also cnt25 filelist would be edit.

notice

if you use the default.tmpl then please save it! cos with this update the default.tmpl will be overwritten!

es ist nun möglich ip's zu bannen

ausserdem wurde cnt25 / filelist editiert

wenn ihr die default.tmpl datei beim gb contentpart benutzt wird diese überschrieben! also vorher sichern

a new release is out

new thing is fck editor 2.1.1

i add an enhancement to the default.inc.php

if you use the standard backentext! you will see from now on the release date of you installed version!
if you have edit the standard backend text add this to the code and you will see wich release you use!

eine neue version ist draussen

die beinhaltet version fck editor 2.1.1

desweiteren habe ich die default.inc.php um das veröffentlichungsdatum dere version erweitert. wenn ihr den standard backedtext abgeändert habt fügt folgende zeile hinzu

Hallo,

das Archiv phpwcms_pre_1.2.5_02.11.2005.zip scheint defekt zu sein. Läßt sich nicht entpacken.
Alle anderen Releases funktionieren.

Thanks, Pappnase, for consolidating the latest stuff from CVS. It's greatly appreciated. I just wanted to ask if it would be possible to list the files that changed (if you have that information) or release a smaller package that only contains files that changed. The reason is that I have made quite a few changes to core files and it make it a whole lot easier to update the code if I knew which files changed. Don't worry about it if you think it would take too much time.

Generally he points the files, but if they're too many...

So, I did two things to follow the file that changed:
1° I downloaded tortoise CVS (a little complicated to understand if u never done that -which was my case- but 1/2 hour should do it).
2° I downloaded winmerge (exist for mac and linux too) and followed dreamweaver guidelines (see macromedia site) to install it (1/2 hour too) <-- that one helps me to compare files very usefull!!! and easy-to-use

Ich hab ne ältere Version 1.2.5 dev im Einsatz und möchte das gesamte Update einspielen.

Reicht es wenn ich die ca. 3 MB grosse Datei runterlade, lokal entpacke und danach auf meinen Server uploade? oder muss ich noch ein Setup ausführen?

Ohne Installation geht's nicht...

Insbesonder das Anpassen der Rechte für Ordner und Dateien ist sehr wichtig

Da ist in den meisten Fällen der Hund begraben...

nicht ganz richtig. er hat schon 1.2.5 drauf und will nur die aktuellen CVS komplett noch einmal aus dem gesammt packet mit reinkopieren.
also ist kein extra setup notwendig. (meine meinung)
sicher dir nur vorher deine angepassten dateien!
