www.jopa.dk - frolds first phpwcms site

Post by frold »

Hey

I have made a new homepage for my fathers company Jopa Aps at http://www.jopa.dk

Its only nearly done - but I made this topic anyway... :wink:

This is my first phpwcms project released after more then 2000 posts in this forum ;-)..

I have a major one comming up in a month or so (have taken 1,5 years to make) - and I can already say it will be the biggest and most hacked phpwcms ever!! :D More to come when done...

Very nice Frold, thanks again for all your commitment and your site rocks, clean and nice menus!
You've used alot of hacks and add-ons :)

2000 posts... and I thought I was slow, well, thanks to you I can sleep better :D :lol: :lol: (I always asked myself, why you knew so much and didn't apply it, now I know)

Cheers, congrats, boum boum, fiesta!

Yep I know - but dont know howto fix it - I guess it is a problem with the content part: email contact form :S

It is a common problem with the content parts and FF... not only that one, the fact is if we use CSS (box model) the content parts are made with tables and they don't "fit" well. I've seen that several times when making a site... :shock: IE is ok

I think OG (and friends? or alone?) is preparing everything to be css-based in future.

Anyway, if u hack the css to be 100% always (need a lot of reading on css forums and examples) or you "sacrifice" your design to let content in (ex: a white dummy-content part at the bottom of the page, just to force the height) then it won't happen (easy said, not easy to do).

Anyway, I keep saying: Hurray for Frold's coming out! :D

Cheers

Yep the address in the botton of the page is blue in blue - but it is just meant as a bonus :)
Smart idé med at lave hovedlinks til små sitemaps.
:D Instead of have empty topleves I have placed a sitemap in them - when there is sublevels.. But Im smart :D
De tre tilbud - hvordan har du lavet dem?
In the root level I have created 3 articles "tilbud 1", "tilbud 2" "tilbud 3". They are set to not visible and then I use:

Code: Select all

          <tr>
            <td valign="top">{SHOW_CONTENT:46}</td>
            <td width="20" align="center"><hr style=" width: 1px; height: 50px;"></td>
            <td valign="top">{SHOW_CONTENT:47}</td>
            <td width="20"><hr style=" width: 1px; height: 50px;"></td>
            <td valign="top">{SHOW_CONTENT:48}</td>
          </tr>
So I can control the content in the boxes via phpwcms

I figured out you were smart already - and the way to have three columns in the bottom of the page just proved me right :D
