I am not sure if this has been discussed, but what about adding some of the file handling features available in the article aspect of phpwcms to work for the templates as well.For the most part, my templates have 80 to 90% of its predecessor counter parts. So wouldn't it make sense to have a copy function for your previous template that you can then edit later?
Just a thought and it seems simple to do, no?
