The files names indicated are not in order. Must one copy over each set in order to arrive at an updated system or is the latest package all one needs to have the latest functioning updates?
Thanks!

good question,
it gets harder to check which files you have and which not. and all that for each system installed, hard work.
would be great to have a "winMerge" function build in which compares each file and backup automatical edited on and pull out an report of this.
It's hard to dig out after month where a file was changed, also for all installations.
So i wish will be a version management or a function decribed above.

I'm thinking too that at least the packages of new files could be named consistently and presented in order of release. I'm not suggesting only more work for others. I just don't feel qualified to do this. But I hereby volunteer to help if I can. The docu site is so valuable! I know this is the standard operating procedure in the opensource world but personally find it extremely difficult to use forums as "documentation"
My sincere thanks to all you forum contributors though! without you I'd be lost.

Danke Pappnase. With a little more time I understood your system of uploading the files in the two packages.

hi,
before i waste much time,
i've downloades the last stable version 1.2.5. from sourceforge and now i would download the last CVS Version
phpwcms_pre_1.2.5_11.10.2005.zip 3.13 MB
phpwcms 1.2.5 - CVS Version 11.10.2005
(this include all changes from the past, right?!)
then copy the content of phpwcms_pre_1.2.5_11.10.2005.zip in my local phpwcms folder.
upload the whole thing and install.
should work, or not?!
greetings
marcus

Hello
thats wrong
download the last cvs version, unzip it, upload it and install it! and at least enjoy it!
if you download the latest cvs you don't need the sourceforge version!
