documentation

Post by harbinger »

Hi All

I'm somekind of new to PHPWCMS. Before I was using Typo3, I'm still doing so and I learned that documenting everything I do is a good way for me to "remember" things later when I didn't use them for a long time.

So, what I'm trying to do is to document this stuff on a Website, so maybe other users could use these documentations as well. So I began this evening here:
http://tsys.mine.nu/pmwiki/index.php/Kn ... CMS-Layout

Now, I just would like that someone who better knows PHPWCMS than me would tell me if this approach there is good or if the way of documenting is bad (and for sure if there are errors, I don't hope so...).

Thx, Regards

Hello Harbinger,

there are some ways to get the documentation:

http://www.phpwcms-docu.de/index.php?english_version
http://www.phpwcms-docu.de/index.php?deutsche_version
http://www.peperkorn-online.de/index.php?warum German

I hope that helps you and you can start better

I don't really understand what you try to tell me :/ I know where the documentation is, I read the documentation. But what I missed in there I'd like to write down somewhere. So for example the differencies between "Table"; "CSS"; "Custom", what different abilities you get with these etc...

The current documentation sites are quite limited and do not cover all you need to know about phpwcms. I encourage this new docu website. Go on with the good work!!
