phpwcms image browser does not show up in Internet Explorer

phpwcms image browser does not show up in Internet Explorer for some reason. If I go to a content part like 'pictures' or text with picture' and click on the 'open image browser' icon the small window pops up but shows the index.php page. It work in Firefox but not in IE. As other people will administer the site in Future it is imperative that this is working properly.

It would be nice if someone could help. Here is what I get:

Yep, newest version + Patches.

The strange thing is that it works perfectly in Firefox.

Yes. Tried -doesn't work.

I also have just uploaded the entire phpwcms files again. now the system is as it was provided, I should think, appart from my settings in the conf.inc.php file where I made my settings. Still, IE explorer will not show the image browser.

What now? What a shame it's all so difficult all of a sudden.

I had the same problem. Except its a little bit stranger, I could open the file browser in IE yesterday, but today it just opens my homepage. Works fine in Mozilla though. Was anyone able to figure out what the problem was?

try to clear the Browser-Cache - and delete the Cookies

thanks. It seems to have resolved itself. I worked w/ mozilla for a few hours and have restarted my computer a couple times since I had last tried with IE.
