How to achieve index.php?contact

Hi all,

Browsing through the phpwcms example websites ('sites you are proud of' category on this forum) I sometimes see that the links to 'Site map' and 'contact' sometimes look like this: index.php?sitemap and index.php?contact

How can I achieve that?

I am especially looking for a way to include links in my website to articles that are not accessible through the normal navigation column and/or row. Like the site map: I want the site map link in the footer line, not in the nav_row.
