Help me! Table of pics linking to different pages

Hi,

i'm not sure if the subject of this post is very clear so i'll explain below:

(4 columns and several rows)
PIC01 - PIC02 - PIC03 - PIC04
PIC05 - PIC06 - PIC07 - PIC08
PIC09 - PIC10 - PIC11 - PIC12
PIC13 - PIC14 - PIC15 - PIC16
etc...

What i want to achieve is a table or matrix of pictures with captions and each linking to a different page.

How can i do this?

i think only via an wisiwyg html content part oder the external page cp.

thx for your reply.

I have been thinking about it and realised that it would be similar to a photogallery but instead of opening a bigger picture of the thumbnail it would link to a page.

Is this feature not already possible? If not it would be interesting for development maybe a MOD that some advanced developer could tackle.

I really need this as it would make me definitely change several of my sites to phpwcms instead of just one.
