italian

Post by fivepoints »

hallo,
I have got a very little company and I'm looking for a cms for a customer (really I wanted to write a php cms, but this customer has got no time).
So, I've used today for the first time phpWCMS and it's great (I think better than Mambo in User Interface).
But I want to translate the official documentation (the file phpwcms_docu_en.pdf that I've found on the official site) into italian language.
The only question is: there are some rules to respect about documentation development?

Thanks

hi fivepoints,

thank you for your engagement - i think it will be usefull when look to pappnases phpwcms docu page at http://www.phpwcms-docu.de.

write him an email or PM and talk about the translation of the docu-site into italian language....
i think this seems to be usefull instead of translate the pdf which is not actual because we are close.. to version 2 of phpwcms.
Gruß/ regards cyrano

Yes fivepoints,
it would be great to have Italian as an additional language on the phpwcms-docu site. I'm sure many people would be excited about that. Even if it would be only some of it to start with. Nice if your work was then online for others to benefit from.
Keep it up!

Its a big job to translate phpwcms.

If I was you I would start now... Im sure you can reuse most of it....

Im pretty sure that the enhanced user and rightsmangement - will only add 5-10 extra lines to the lang file

Deduco che tu sia italiano quindi! Hai per caso approfondito la questione della traduzione?

poi... hai percaso modo di spiegarmi come customizzare la grafica di PHPWCMS senza perforza utilizzare l'interfaccia di creazione dei Templates?

Grazie, Francesco.
