does all this talk of a front end login boil down to certain articles can be seen by authorised peaple only? if so, does this mean a simple toggle yes/no for each page or on a more desireable per person/usergroup basis?

I would love to see a per person/usergroup login for the front end.... please, please, please, please :)

This is what I have planned.

Based on user and/or usergroup.

I have to finish 2 larger projects within this and beginning next month - and I have to make draft/concept for a larger invitation to bid (hope it's the right translation) - so maybe...

I can not say. I will release a smaller update within next days - no dramatic thing.

oliver, since it's no big deal to include, please consider inserting in the next update the "leave a comment" replacement tag. And the "news" option and the "move this page on folder x on day y" would be largely appreciated too. Thanx in advance and sorry for bothering you.

You mean a documentation and howtos?

I might be able to do a kickoff - I am used to write a lot - but we should use the power of the other people (usually hanging around here) for input and (!) translations...

I started this thead about a phpwcms-WIKI tutorial site....
http://www.phpwcms.de/forum/viewtopic.p ... =tutorials

The Idea was that the tutorials would be offered as a seprate/same download so every phpwcms site could have the tutorials to to each the content creators
I was thinking that if we recreated al the various pages as articles there would be no need to use huge bitmaps when writting the tutorials but I would think that a copy/paste article would be helpfull in this case. This would also reflect the changes in the end users .css files and remove any confusions that may arise from co-relating the tutorial to the wcms.

I was thinking when you cut/paste an article existingly, a messagebox would popup asking if you would like to 'cut, copy or cancel?' and shall post this in 'feature request'

I have installed a wiki only for the Documentation of phpwcms on my server. You may feel free to use it. I do have some problems in understanding and using the wiki and the wikilanguage, so, may be, I will learn as anybody begins working with it.

You can find it under this URL:

http://www.wackernah.net/wiki

It is only for the Docs of phpwcms setup.
