New add-on development corner

Hi ppl,

trip and I have created a new phpwcms add-on
development community.

Our aim is to make the hack and add-on development
for this great script more overviewable and bring
everything into an order. Another thing we want to
reach is that we want to make ppl follow the guidelines
that where once created by jerome.

I think there are many ppl out there who are willing to help us
by simply publishing their hacks in our forum.

As soon as we have a certain number of add-ons / mods in
our forum I will create a website to publish them.

You can reach the community through:

as there are some login-bugs with this url, I strongly recommend

What about using the phpwcms.de or phpwcms-docu.de site to publish the stuff? It would just be soooo beautiful if all would come together - in terms of location as well as presentation.

please read my "volunteers needed thread" for more information. I don't want to speak about anybody in this thread but I guess that you can read out of the other threat whose fault it is, that there was / is no movement into the direction mentioned by you.

And as I have heard, OG is not really happy with our idea of an open board that is accessible for everyone and not only the devs. Nevertheless I'm gonna try to realize this project because I think that there are many examples out there, that show us how important a well organized hack-development is. (mambo, typo3, phpbb, woltlab, simplemachines, etc.)
