Question about Hosting

I use IPowerWeb to host my PHPWcms site and I'm having problems. It seems that I'm having frequent problems with the database and the site being down. The non-database pages that are not PHPWcms related work fine. Are their settings that I should change? Or have other people also had problems with IPowerWeb? Are their other inexpensive hosts that people recommend?

For under 2 bucks a month. That's cheap. And good uptime? What about email? Do they allow mailing lists to be send out on their servers?

I do not know how it is in these cases but always check with the hosting company(especially with the cheap once) what happens when the monthly bandwidth been reached on the account. There have been people that had to pay a hell of a lot of money just because they got listed on a big site and the trafic went to the roof and extra trafic that wasn't included in his package costed alot!!!

Just so you think about it, and check it..Theres some small scam companies out there making this their business...
